Our Mission

The Mission of Benton Farmers' Market is to provide a viable, community based market for the sale of high quality locally grown produce; to promote gardening, farming and the production of food items and agricultural goods and to promote healthy lifestyles.  The market will offer our community an opportunity to gather in a safe and friendly public market setting.

Our aim is to preserve farmland and sustainable agriculture; to support and stimulate the profitable trading viability and business growth of independent primary producers, hobby gardeners, community and home gardeners; to provide customers with regular supplies of fresh food and access to improved nutrition; to contribute to the economic, social and health of our community as well as promote community spirit; and to make rural and urban links.
